Prerequisites:

Searching

Searching by Primary ID

  • Enter a Primary ID in the search bar located at the top of the left-hand sidebar.

Searching for Multiple Primary IDs

  • Click the dropdown below the search text box and select “Multi-code search.”
  • A modal will appear; input the desired IDs separated by a space or new line.

Searching by Displayed Attributes

  • Click on the Search By dropdown under the search box
  • Select the attribute you want to search for
  • Enter the value that you want to find in the search box

Filtering Product Lists

Adding Filters

  • Click “Add Filters” to open the menu on the right-hand side.
  • Select an attribute and enter the value for filtering.
  • Add multiple filters by clicking “Add Filter” again.
  • Once all filters are added, click “Save Changes” to apply them.

Using “OR” Groups

  • Combine filters using the “Add Or Group” button to view products matching any of the specified values.

Filtering Operators

Is equal to: Matches exact values.

Is not equal to: Excludes specified values.

Includes: Matches multi-valued attributes.

Does Not Include: Excludes specific multi-valued attributes.

Starts With/Ends With: Matches based on initial or final characters.

Does Not Start/End With: Excludes values based on start/end characters.

Length: Matches based on character count or number of values for multi-valued attributes.

Alphabetically Before/After: Filters alphabetically by value.


Faceted Attributes

  • If enabled by your admin, faceted attributes appear in the left-hand sidebar. 
  • Clicking the Text box next to the value will apply the filter

Customizing the Sidebar

  • Click the Preferences button to manage sidebar options.
  • To hide options, click the eye icon.
  • Drag and drop items to rearrange their order.

Troubleshooting:

Q: Why can’t I see certain attributes in the sidebar?

A: Check if the attributes are hidden under Preferences or not enabled by your admin.

Q: Filters aren’t working as expected. What should I do?

A: Ensure the filter operators and values are correctly specified. If the issue persists, clear all filters and try again.

Q: Why is my faceted attribute list outdated?

A: The list refreshes every 24 hours; changes might not appear immediately.

Q: Can I save my searches for later use?

A: If you have a filter applied you can save your view and the filter will be reapplied when you select that view

Q: What’s the difference between “Includes” and “Starts With”?

A: “Includes” matches any occurrence of the value, while “Starts With” only matches values that begin with the specified term.
