Summary

This guide explains how to manage products in Pimberly, including editing individual products, releasing products to channels, categorizing products, and applying updates or categorization to multiple products at once.


Edit an Individual Product

Steps:

1. Identify the product via search or filters.

2. Click the Pencil Icon next to the product.

3. Make the necessary changes.

4. Click the OK button.


Release a Product to a Channel

Steps:

1. Search or filter to find the desired product.

2. Click the Pencil Icon next to the product.

3. Click Release on the right-hand side of the edit screen.

4. Select the channels by checking the corresponding boxes.

5. Confirm the release date and time displayed.

6. Click the OK button.


Categorise a Product

Steps:

1. Locate the product using search or filters.

2. Click the Pencil Icon next to the product.

3. Click Change next to “Category Tree” on the edit screen.

4. A new window will appear—add or remove categories from the tree.

5. Click Categorise to close the window.

6. Click the OK button.


Set a Value for Multiple Products at Once

Steps:

1. In the product grid, click Update (top-right corner).

2. Choose to update only selected products or all products in the filter.

3. If changing “Product Type” or “Taxonomy,” set the new values here; otherwise, click Next.

4. Tick the box next to Set for the attributes you want to update, then set the value.

To clear a value, click Set, then select Clear All Values.

5. Click Next after making changes.

6. Review the updates and click Run Update.


Categorise Multiple Products at Once

Steps:

1. From the product grid, click Categorize.

2. Choose to update selected products or all filtered products.

3. Browse the category trees and nodes.

4. Use checkboxes to add or remove nodes as needed.

5. Click Categorise to finalise.
 


Release Multiple Products at Once

Steps:

1. Click Release from the product grid.

2. Choose selected products or all products in the filter.

3. A list of account channels will appear.

4. Use the dropdown to select Release or Un-release for each channel.

Note: If no dropdown is visible, the products don’t meet the release requirements.

5. Click Release to complete.


Troubleshooting

Why can’t I release a product to a channel?

Ensure the product meets the release requirements for that channel.


FAQ

Q: Can I undo a product update?

A: Updates cannot be undone, but you can manually revert changes by editing the product again.
