Aid SEO efforts by retaining original filename when storing new assets
Coming Soon: Please note this feature will not be available immediately.
In order for a site to be optimised for SEO purposes, product image filenames should be descriptive, and ideally, retain the original filename for the product.
Currently, when an asset is stored in Pimberly Cloud, even though the original filename is stored as metadata on the asset, the asset ID is used for the actual file stored in the cloud:
Coming soon, Pimberly will store new assets with their original filename, rather than using the unique asset ID.
Note: If you already have assets in the DAM, you will be able to retrieve the original file name by exporting using a conversion function:
Improvement: Query any number of IDs with multi-code search
In order to make the product finding journey easier and quicker, the way the multi-code search submits the list of codes entered by the user has changed.
Previously, the values entered were subject to an overall limit, which was not clear. Queries that breached this limit would return an unhelpful error message.
We have changed the way the values entered are submitted, which means the request is no longer subject to the same limits.
