If you have feeds or channels which connect using FTP, and your FTP server is behind a firewall, you may need to permit connections made by Pimberly.
Feeds and channels are run by a varying number of task server instances. To allow us to scale these instances to meet demand, we use network address translation to ensure connections are always made by the same IP address.
The addresses to permit are:
- 220.127.116.11 - production environment
- 18.104.22.168 - sandbox environment
- 22.214.171.124 - Pimberly office (this is optional, but useful when we're providing support for feeds and channels)
Important: If access to your FTP server is restricted by a firewall, the connection test which runs when configuring the FTP connection on a feed or channel will fail. This is because connection tests are made by a different IP address to the ones above. You can click OK to acknowledge the warning and save the channel regardless.
