This article describes the changes to Pimberly which have been deployed during July 2021.
Unhandled error when categorising with certain category nodes (PIM-3308)
Fix for a rare issue that could cause the user interface to become unresponsive when adding certain categories to products.
Improvements to channel image export reliability (PIM-3657)
Images that are exported via channels while they are still awaiting preview generation will now be exported correctly.
Also resolves an issue whereby a channel with "Re-upload assets" enabled that exports a subset of a media set could encounter an error if the media set did not exist on the product being exported.
Console error when updating an attribute with a data set value that contains a double-quote (PIM-2967)
Resolves an error that would occur when using data set values containing double-quote characters.
Link metadata: importing a single item doe not work correctly (PIM-3601)
Corrects an issue whereby importing link metadata for a single item in a product set did not work as expected.
BigCommerce connector: Support "Related Products" (CON-69)
Related Products are now supported in the BigCommerce connector. By mapping a Product Set attribute in Pimberly to a
relatedProduct object in the connector config, related products modelled in Pimberly can now be reflected on BigCommerce product pages.
BigCommerce connector: Add support for "topLevelProducts" configuration property (CON-72)
Adds support for a new "topLevelProducts" property in the connector configuration. This accepts an array of strings representing product types that should be considered as the top level of your product structure when creating products in BigCommerce.
For example, consider the following Product Type structures in Pimberly:
Bundle > Product Group > Variant > SKU
Simple Product > SKU
By defining Product Group and Simple Product as top-level products, if you release a Bundle product to the connector, then the Product Group and its children will be created as products in BigCommerce.
BigCommerce connector: Performance improvements (CON-64)
Various optimisations have been made to the BigCommerce connector code in order to improve performance.
