Data Sets Searchable/Sortable

We have a long list of data sets. There should be a way to either sort or search.

Actually, for all future development projects it should be part of the project scope that when you have any list as the output, the columns should be sortable by default. The design should also be consistent. Currently, Data Sets and Category Trees are plain lists, while all other list-type features are a scrollable window.

    Hi Jim

    Thanks for the suggestion!

A feature request for this functionality is currently in progress so will keep you in the loop with any updates.

    Thanks,

    Jessica

  • I like the new update to the data sets. Make things a lot easier. However, there are a few misses that can easily be addressed.

    1. The columns cannot be adjusted below 200 pixels as the minimum width. We have some data sets that have a lot of attributes and we have to always scroll right/left. Setting the column default width is fine, but remove the style that limits the resizing. In doing so, you can now resize columns the way you need to. Very easy and quick style edit.

Changing the 'min-width' to 'width' and updating the flex calculation to 15% will allow for clean resizing.

    2. In allowing for column resizing, update the column heading code to add a title attribute. So when columns that cut off the full name can be seen. It is currently being done for the individual data set values, just not the header.
