What is a PDT
A Product Data Template (PDT) is a spreadsheet created by the Pimberly customer to guide you, the vendor, through providing the required product information. It highlights which attributes are mandatory, outlines any validation rules, and ensures all necessary details are completed for each product.
You’ll only see the PDTs that the Pimberly customer has specifically assigned to your Vendor Portal account.
Each PDT contains three tabs:
- Cover – Includes guidance and notes to help you fill out the PDT correctly.
- Products – The main tab where you’ll enter your product data.
- Attributes – Lists all available attributes on the PDT for reference only. As a vendor, you won’t need to interact with this tab directly.
How to fill out a PDT?
- Log in to your Vendor Portal account.
- From your dashboard, download the PDT assigned to you.
- Open the downloaded file on your computer.
- Navigate to the Products tab.
- In Column A, select the appropriate Product Class for each product. This will highlight which attributes apply to that class.
- Mandatory fields will be outlined in red.
- Greyed out fields indicate attributes that do not apply to the selected class.
- Complete all required product data, then save the file once finished
